Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
