Immediate opening: moulder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Shelby County, Kentucky. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
