Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time, day shift.
