Bricklayer — Cass County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cass County, Texas. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
