Press machine operator — Ibadan North

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Ibadan North, Oyo State. The job is on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
