Trainee butcher — Miller County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Miller County, Georgia. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
