Chiller technician — Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a chiller technician in Clay County, Alabama. You will be based at a food processing plant. On a typical shift you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; clean condenser and evaporator coils. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Rotating shifts.
