Refrigeration installation technician — Weber County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Weber County, Utah. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Your main tasks: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
