Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Wayne County, Indiana. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off.
