Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Yates County, New York. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
