General labourer — Henrico County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a general labourer in Henrico County, Virginia. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain 3+ years on the tools preferred.
