Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Iwajowa, Oyo State. On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
