Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Garza County, Texas. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens On the job you will handle: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
