Lift erector — Upshur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Upshur County, Texas. You will work in a residential tower block. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables.
