Tailor machinist — Gokana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Gokana, Rivers State. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. You will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Rotating shifts.
