Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The job is in a residential housing project. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
