You will mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches. Ideal candidate: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
