Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Iroquois County, Illinois. The role involves dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 4+ years on the tools preferred. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
