Vacancy available: rough terrain crane operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Rotating shifts.
