Die-casting operator — Stewart County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Stewart County, Tennessee. The job is on the moulding line. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Six days a week, one day off.
