Great opportunity: gtaw welder (Ohio)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Washington County, Ohio. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
