Plastering hand — Hardin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Hardin County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Performance bonus on top of base pay.
