Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator in Cochran County, Texas. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. Day to day you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
