Pastry baker wanted in Kent

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Kent, England. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. On a typical shift you will score the top of loaves before baking; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
