Bread and bun maker — Garfield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Garfield County, Nebraska. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Score the top of loaves before baking What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Full-time, day shift.
