Join our team: we are hiring an auto painter in Chilton County, Alabama. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day to day you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
