Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Pickens County, Alabama. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Rotating shifts.
