Offshore rigger • Lane County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lane County, Kansas. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
