Rigging foreman • St. Mary Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
