Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Fisher County, Texas. You will be based in a botanical garden. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
