Long-haul driver — Ohio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Ohio County, West Virginia. The role involves secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
