Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off.
