Sheet metal press operator — Talbot County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Talbot County, Georgia. The job is on the press shop floor. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
