Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Hampton County, South Carolina. The job is in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
