Industrial sewing operator — Onna

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Onna, Akwa Ibom State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 4+ years on the tools preferred.
