We are recruiting: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Leon County, Florida. On a typical shift you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time with occasional weekends.
