PVC window installer — Lake and Peninsula Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On a typical shift you will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame.
