Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
