Join our team: die-casting operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in City of Staunton, Virginia. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
