Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing.
