Great opportunity: argon welding operator (Yobe State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Machina, Yobe State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around ₦7,500 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
