Immediate opening: heavy equipment operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Stark County, Illinois. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. Your main tasks: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
