The role involves: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals Rotating shifts.
