CNC milling operator wanted in Catawba County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
