Tailor machinist wanted in Bossier Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
