Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Armstrong County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit.
