Slinger signaller — Jefferson Davis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
