Lift installation engineer • Walker County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Walker County, Texas. The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred.
