Bricklayer — Menominee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Menominee County, Michigan. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Full-time, day shift.
