Horizontal milling machine operator — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
